The chart below gives a visual as to the depth of damage caused by each defect.
Defects in the Clear Coat level are likely to be minimized or fully repaired.
As a defect penetrates into the Base Coat level, it is no longer repairable by Paint Correction alone.
Paint Correction Service
Your typical Paint Correction service will include an Exterior Detail Wash, Chemical and Clay Bar Decontamination to remove any contaminants in your clear coat in order to safely perform a Stage 1, 2, or 3 Paint Correction and Sealant.
